How to Use Schedules

Schedules are a powerful tool for creating screen-free time blocks in your child's day. You can use them to automatically block distracting apps during important activities like homework, dinner, or bedtime, helping your child build healthy digital habits.

Here's the most important rule to remember: Schedules always have priority over Limits.

How to Create a Schedule

1. Open the Kidsee app and tap the Schedules tab at the bottom of the screen.

2. TapCreate New Scheduleto start a new one, or tap theplus iconnext to a suggestion like "Homework" or "School Hours" to use it as a template.

3. Set the Time period by choosing a start and end time.

4. Select the Active days on which you want this schedule to run.

5. Tap Save. To make the schedule active, ensure the toggle switch next to its name is turned ON.

What Happens When a Schedule is Active?

When a schedule is active, Kidsee will block all apps on your child's device, except for essential system apps (like Phone or Messages) and any apps you have placed on your Always Allowed list.

Remember, schedules have the highest priority. It doesn't matter how much time is left on your child's daily limit; if a schedule starts, the apps will be blocked.
